Duke

A Duke or Duchess can either be a monarch ruling over a duchy or a member of the nobility, historically of highest rank below the monarch. This noble title is ranked higher than Count and lower than Prince in nobility system of Europe. This title is granted to a certain person by the Regent, to serve by ruling over a province and developing its infrastructure, thus helping to improve the kingdom.

Requirements

To become Duke, you don't need any in game mechanical requirements. A Regent can appoint up to 1 Duke for each castle the Kingdom owns.

This role is mainly for Role Playing purposes.

Duties

A Duke's main duties may include:

• Ruling over a province in a king's stead, trying to expand it
• Aid Regent/Kingdom in any possible ways
• Assuring King and Government safety
• Raise armies, even join them, in times of war
• Pay Taxes to king
