Baron/Baroness is a title of honour, often hereditary, and marks the first rank of nobility that does not necessarily require an overlord in the feudal system. A Baron/Baroness is a person who got granted this title by the [[Regent]] of a Kingdom to rule over a small fief which belongs to the Kingdom.
