The standard travel time to move from one region to the adjacent one will be 1 hour. Time can be increased depending on the two regions terrain type:

A penalty will be applied to travel time if the character doesn't wear shoes or boots. A penalty of 50% will be added on travel time. On top to the normal wear off rate (1% a day), shoes will wear off when walking:

Minutes Wear off %
60 0,6
90 0,9
120 1,2

Excessive Weight

Avoid it with: Carry less items or buy a cart

If a char is traveling carrying more weight than he can (See Transporting items for details),a 10% malus on travel time is added for each 5 Kg in excess

Lack of Energy and Glut

Avoid it with: Food and sleep

Traveling requires a certain amount of energy and glut, respectively 4% energy and 2% glut for each 30 minutes of travel. If you don't have the required levels of glut and energy you will still be able to travel but with a malus of 400% on travel time.

Traveling by sea

Movements are possible only between adjacent sea regions. With the Traveler Package Bonus it's possible to use the Fast-Track Net (moving between non-adjacent regions) and reduce traveling costs to 0. The standard travel time to move is 1 hour for each crossed region. Travel costs are: 1 silver coins per hour.

Penalties

Lack of Energy and Glut

No energy or glut is required when sailing.

Excessive Weight

Avoid it with: Carry less items or buy a cart

If a char is traveling carrying more weight than he can (See Transporting items for details), a malus of 10% to travel costs for each 20 Kg in excess is applied.

If player owns a Professional Cart, the malus applied to travel costs are 10% for each 40 Kg of excess weight.

Not enough money

Avoid it with: Money

Traveling by sea requires a certain amount of money. If the character doesn't have enough money, he will still be able to travel but with a penalty of 400% on travel time.
