Transporting items

In version 2.0, a weight carrying limit has been introduced. The limit depends on the strength and constitution of the character:

Strength Constitution Transportable Weight (Kg)
1 1 75,0
7 7 75,0
10 10 100,0
15 15 150,0
20 20 200,0

How weight limit influences game play?

Picking up items

A character will be able to pick item until the carried weight overload the 170% limit. If a character can transport 75 Kg, he will be able to pick items until the carried weight is 128 Kg.

Moving

A character that for any reason is overloaded, gets a malus when traveling:

  • 10% of time for each 5 Kg in excess, when moving by land
  • 10% of time for each 10 Kg in excess, when moving by sea

The cart

A character can raise his weight limits by acquiring a cart. There are two type of carts, Basic (buildable by Carpenters) and Professional (can be bought with doubloons):

Level Added carrying capacity Item slots Needed items Duration Artisan Hours
1 (Basic) 3000 Kg 2 300 wood pieces, 150 iron pieces 3 months Carpenter 4 hours adds 5% to progress
2 (Professional) 10000 Kg 5 - 1 year -

The Item Slots indicate how many different item types (ex. wood, stone, hay bales etc.) can be carried in each type of cart.

The cart also gives the possibility to the owner to write a Delivery Contract.
